ECOGAS Inversiones begins trading on BYMA

ECOGAS Inversiones S.A., hitherto known as Inversora de Gas del Centro S.A., officially announced its start trading, with the ECOG ticker, on BYMA (Argentine Stock Exchanges and Markets). Through the Capital Market, the company will be able to access capital, have a transparent and objective valuation, enhance its visibility, access analysts and institutional investors, among other benefits. The recent IPO, in March 2024, of Distribuidora de Gas del Centro, a company controlled by ECOGAS Inversiones; in addition to the latter, which also is the parent company of Distribuidora de Gas Cuyana, which has been listed on BYMA for many years, and of other companies: Energía Sudamericana S.A. and GASDIFEX S.A. This is an important event, since it indicates a new phase for the holding company, which will have greater scale and liquidity in the market, giving it the opportunity to take advantage of the benefits of listing on BYMA.
