Echeqs
The echeq, or electronic check, was authorized by Argentina's Central Bank (BCRA) through Communication A 6578/18. It holds the same legal standing as a physical check but is managed entirely electronically via online banking.
Digital Promissory Notes
The digital promissory note is a negotiable fixed-income instrument guaranteed by a Mutual Guarantee Company whose issuer promises to pay the beneficiary a specified sum at a predetermned short- or medium-term date.
Electronic Credit Invoices
The Electronic Invoice regime consists of the registration of these instruments, which Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises - MiPyMES - issue electronically on the Argentinian tax authority (AFIP) website, using their tax identificarion code.
