5 NEW ETF CEDEARs are added to the Argentine market

Buenos Aires, December 2024. BYMA, Argentine Stock Exchanges and Markets Bank, and Banco Comafi have added new ETF CEDEARs to the Argentine Capital Market, providing investors with more alternatives to transform their savings into investments. Soon, the first ETF available in the Argentine market will be able to trade in BYMA: Ethereum (ETHA); bitcoin (IBIT); inverse of the Short S&P 500 (SH) index and physical gold (GLD). Along with the FXI ETF CEDEAR, which seeks to replicate an index comprised of the 50 largest companies in China. The issuer of ETHA, GLD and SH is Caja de Valores, the depositary of Grupo BYMA, while Banco Comafi will be the issuer of IBIT and FXI. ETF CEDEARs allow investors to obtain great diversification by buying a single instrument and accessing the multiple assets that compose it, which favors the reduction of risk. In this regard, some ETFs invest methodologically in a wide portfolio of instruments, giving wide exposure to different regions, sectors and segments. In addition, these instruments are highly liquid in their home markets, making it possible for investors to easily buy or sell CEDEARs at any time during the trading session. With these additions, the total number of ETF CEDEARs available to trade on BYMA reaches 14. What are the new ETF CEDEARs? #1 ETHA seeks to replicate the value of Ethereum, it allows you to gain exposure to this cryptocurrency without the need to purchase it directly. The advantages of ETFs are that they are purchased and stored just like other traditional assets, so there is no need to use wallets and private keys to protect these instruments. Ratio 5:1#2 IBIT seeks to replicate the value of bitcoin, without the need to acquire the cryptocurrency. Ratio 10:1 ETHA and IBIT are the first interaction between the Argentine stock market and the cryptocurrency world. In addition, investing in the ETF involves operating under a regulated market, which makes them more attractive when it comes to investing in cryptocurrency.#3 GOLD is an instrument designed to closely monitor the price of physical gold. It is the first CEDEAR for metal ETFs, allowing you to invest in one of the most traditional assets in the world and benefit from the potential appreciation of this metal. Ratio 50:1#4 SH is the first CEDEAR of an inverse ETF. It is designed to protect portfolios in times of market decline. It seeks to reverse replicate the daily performance of the Short S&P 500 Index, meaning that when the price of the ETF rises, the index's trend is downward. It is an instrument for those who seek to protect themselves against potential losses in the market. Ratio 8:1#5 FIX allows investors to gain exposure to the Chinese market. It seeks to replicate an index comprised of the 50 largest companies in China. Ratio 5:1ABOUT THE CEDEARS OF ETF
