As of July 19, 16 new CEDEARs will be traded on BYMA.

In order to meet the needs of the different participants of the Capital Markets and to promote the access of new investors, BYMA incorporates 16 new Argentine Certificates of Deposit (CEDEARs) for trading. They will begin trading on the Stock Exchange on Tuesday, July 19.

‍The issuer of these instruments for the local market is Caja de Valores, a company belonging to the BYMA Group and the only central depository entity in Argentina authorized by the National Securities Commission to receive negotiable securities in collective deposit. Caja de Valores has also been an issuer of ETF CEDEARs since January 2022.

The novelty expands the variety of equity CEDEARs for Argentine investors, and provides the possibility of investing in new markets and in foreign companies in multiple sectors, among which the technology sector stands out. Likewise, Caja de Valores' role as issuer offers benefits in terms of costs.

The initiative and the listing of the new CEDEARs is part of BYMA's commitment to respond to the demand and interests of investors with a central focus: to promote the development of the Argentine Capital Market, offering new investment alternatives.

‍The 16 Argentine Certificates of Deposit correspond to shares of companies in multiple sectors: technology, automotive, tourism, aerocommercial, among others.
