The year that is ending leaves an extremely positive balance for BYMA and for our capital markets. If we look at the relevant indicators of our activity, all of them showed double-digit growth rates:

Our stock market benchmark, the Merval Index, accumulated a 77% increase in pesos. This is the largest increase since 2009, when after the 2008 financial crisis, the rise reached 95% in that year.

The average daily volume in shares for the year was close to $500 million, an advance of 76.7% and the highest in the last 10 years. Since August, that volume averaged $620 million, demonstrating the growing investor interest in these instruments.

In Fixed Income, the average daily volume for the year totaled about $8.5 billion, evidencing an improvement of more than 100%.

After several years with little issuance of new shares and capital subscriptions, this year ended with the public offerings of Loma Negra and Laboratorios Richmond, together with 13 other capital increases for a cumulative amount of close to US$ 2.35 billion.350 million, the highest level in the last 20 years and more than 8 times the level of the previous year.

Our central depository, Caja de Valores, registers close to 365,000 open subaccounts, showing a growth of close to 50.

The milestone that marked the end of this year was the start of trading of our share, BYMA, on May 23. Since that date, our stock appreciated 127% and became the seventh most traded share in our local market, reaching an average daily volume of more than $22 million. This also implied the incorporation of close to 3,600 new investors to our company, which reflects the growing interest that our market has awakened, not only internationally but also locally. It should also be noted that as of January 2, 2018, BYMA's shares will be included in our most representative index of the local stock market: the MERVAL Index.
