BYMA and Caja de Valores for Vertical Integration

With a meeting at the Caja de Valores building, which included the presentation of the new Caja de Valores logo in accordance with that of BYMA, the full and final integration of BYMA, Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos + Caja de Valores, Argentina's collective deposit, custody, registry and payment agent, was presented.
The meeting, at the Caja de Valores building, included the presentation of the new Caja de Valores logo in accordance with that of BYMA, which seeks to represent the values and history of both organizations.
The vertical integration of Caja de Valores and BYMA will reduce costs and achieve a more efficient operating cycle with lower outflows for the investor.
Ernesto Allaria stated: "The key word is integration,to achieve a more competitive, modern market with horizons in international markets. Today BYMA manages to concentrate all the steps of the Argentine capital market industry. For us, to integrate is to complete a whole with the parts that were missing. BYMA and Caja de Valores todayare a whole, with measurable benefits in costs and efficiency for all."
Alejandro Berney agreed: "The integration of the brands begins to achieve what we have been seeking for so long, a social and economic impact. This action is a great opportunity and challenge for both organizations; the market can make a significant leap in quality and volume. The examples speak for themselves: one of the main tariffs was reduced by 70% and we will continue to reduce them further."
Caja de Valores, founded four decades ago, is the only depository in the country and custodian of public and private securities for the purpose of facilitating and securing transactions; BYMA is the very modernization of the Securities Market, it is a new stock exchange that concentrates all the steps of the Argentine capital market industry, from a vertical integration that encompasses listing, trading, registration, settlement, custody with central depository, payment of claims, access to holdings, and other pre- and post-trade services.
"This path of work and effort is the way to develop a capital market with benefits for all Argentines", concluded Allaria.
