As a result of an exponential growth in core verticals of its business, the BYMA Group decided to evolve towards a new organizational structure focused on meeting the upcoming challenges, while maintaining its leadership position.

The novelty involves the definition of a CEO for BYMA and the continuity of the Executive Director for Caja de Valores, who from the Executive Committee work together to deepen the vertical integration and continue with the digital transformation that has been developing.

Gonzalo Pascual Merlo will assume the role of CEO of BYMA to lead the initiatives that drive technological innovation, business integration and its evolution and positioning in the Argentine market.

Alejandro Berney continues as Executive Director of Caja de Valores, driving the development of the depository's business, which is growing in complexity and opportunities. He also leads the project to replace the central custody system with NASDAQ, and will carry out the strategy to capitalize on its potential.
