BYMA incorporates new Negotiable Obligations labeled as green to its Panel of Social, Green and Sustainable Bonds, the Panel integrated by negotiable securities that entail a positive environmental and/or social impact.The issuer is Genneia S.A. and the use of the proceeds will be used to finance or refinance the development, construction, acquisition and maintenance of wind, solar, biomass, small hydropower and green hydrogen generation projects, as well as battery storage technologies for renewable energies.The issuer has a Second Green Bond Framework Opinion prepared by an External Reviewer and is consistent with the four components of ICMA's Green Bond Principles: Resource Use, Renewable Energy in this case; Project Evaluation and Selection; Resource Stewardship; and Annual Reporting to complete resource allocation which will include information on amounts allocated to eligible projects by category, project descriptions, and outstanding unallocated amounts. Additionally, the company intends to include annual impact reports that will provide information on key indicators such as annual electricity production (GWh) and annual GHG emissions avoided."It is gratifying to see that BYMA's effort to promote sustainable finance is steadily growing.
