IN ARGENTINA BYMA holds the seventh edition of the Toque de Campana por la Igualdad de Género (Bell Ringing for Gender Equality)

In the framework of the "International Women's Day", BYMA -Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos- together with IDB INVEST, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), UN Women and Global Compact; are holding the seventh edition of the "Ring the Bell for Gender Equality" in Argentina. It will be held online on March 10.

The initiative will take place next March 10 virtually and is open. Under the aforementioned slogan, in addition to the traditional ringing of the bell, a space for dialogue on innovation, technological change and education in the digital era to achieve greater gender equality will be developed.

It will feature the participation of Patricia Pomies, Global Chief Operating Officer of Globant, and the event will be moderated by Claudio Zuchovicki, Secretary General of FIAB and Director of BYMA.

‍What is the Ring the Bell about?

The action, known internationally as "Ring the Bell for Gender Equality," is promoted by the Sustainable Stock Exchange Initiative with the aim of drawing attention to the key role that the private sector can play in advancing gender equality to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. It is held in the month of March in more than 100 Stock Exchanges around the world.
