The first Public Debt Security is added to BYMA's Panel of Social, Green and Sustainable Bonds.

BYMA incorporates a new instrument to the Panel of Social, Green and Sustainable Bonds, the Panel integrated by instruments that seek to finance or refinance projects with a positive impact on the environment and/or Society.

This is the first Guaranteed Public Debt Security Series I, issued by the Municipality of the City of Córdoba. The issue has its external review and is in line with the 4 components of ICMA, International Capital Market Association.

The projects chosen are:1) Installation of LED lighting in the City of Córdoba, whose positive environmental impact lies in the implementation of energy efficiency strategies, which generate non-renewable energy savings and prevent GHG emissions.2) Installation of solar stations in urban green spaces, with a positive impact due to the generation of renewable energy.3) Optimization of the sewage network in the City of Córdoba, with a positive impact due to the generation of renewable energy.4) Optimization of the sewage network in the City of Córdoba, with a positive environmental impact due to the implementation of energy efficiency strategies, which generate non-renewable energy savings and prevention of GHG emissions.) Optimization of the urban sewage network, for the optimization of the wastewater collection system thus allowing the prevention of pollution events of the Suquía river of sewage origin, as well as of the associated ecosystems.

In this regard, the President of BYMA, Ernesto Allaria, explained: "We have the firm conviction to promote and accompany with actions the growing commitment of local broadcasters to generate more and more positive impact on the environment and society, and that BYMA is the meeting place for investment to be transformed into work and development".
