The BYMA Group obtained the "Green Seal of Sustainable Management" Certification for the implementation of good practices in waste management in the offices of all its companies: BYMA, Caja de Valores, IAMC and TECVAL.
The Green Seal is granted by the Ministry of Public Space and Urban Hygiene of the GCBA and through the Red de Economía Circular, establishes a mechanism and a protocol to train, accompany, regularize and recognize those who achieve outstanding practices in the management of their waste by ensuring separation at source, as established by current legislation.
The certification obtained is the result of the multiple actions that BYMA has been carrying out as part of its "Being Sustainable" program, focused on generating a positive impact on the environment and with the approach: reduce, reuse and recycle. The organization adheres to the principles of circular economy and seeks to optimize resources and waste through different initiatives.
For BYMA, sustainability is a priority and the vector axis of all its actions.
Authorities of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires presented the certification to BYMA representatives. Gonzalo Pascual Merlo, CEO of BYMA, said: "It is good news for BYMA to obtain this Seal. We celebrate the synergies between actors from different sectors in order to generate more and more positive impact. At BYMA we work actively to make real transformations, achieve concrete results and, at the same time, promote good practices among our stakeholders."

BYMA initiatives as part of Being Sustainable:
By the end of 2021 we developed the proposal: #BeingSustainable, with the central focus on reducing, recycling and reusing, adhering to the principles of the circular economy through various initiatives. We seek to optimize resources, electricity, gas and water consumption, and waste management through communications and awareness-raising. We promote environmental awareness among all employees working at BYMA to improve environmental performance.
- BYMA is a collection point for the Bottles of Love Foundation, a program run by the Regenerate Foundation to encourage the use of plastic when its consumption cannot be avoided.
- The offices have differentiated baskets to reduce, recycle and reuse, adhering to the principles of circular economy and the individual baskets were removed.
- Through the optimization of printing and the Tritur It program (in charge of recycling management), we collaborate to save trees.
- Reduction of paper use both by BYMA and by other market participants through digitalization: BYMA Digital and the Caja de Valores Inversores application.
- The BYMA Group measures its Carbon Footprint in all its companies.
BYMA has been developing its Sustainability Report since the beginning of its activity, in which it reports the work carried out to generate a positive economic, social and environmental impact on the local ecosystem with a central focus: to collaborate with the sustainable development of Argentina.
