BYMA presents the rebalancing of its Sustainability Index 2020
The development annually evaluates the performance of BYMA-listed issuers and highlights those fifteen with the best performance in Environmental, Social, Corporate Governance and Sustainable Development.

BYMA -Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos- presents the rebalancing of its Sustainability Index 2020, which highlights leading issuers in Environmental, Social, Corporate Governance and Sustainable Development (ESG-D).The development was created in 2018 together with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the academic endorsement of the Earth Institute at Columbia University. The index is non-commercial in nature and evaluates the performance of BYMA-listed issuers in the four ESG-D pillars, based on information reported and available to the general public. The methodology is based on IndexAmericas and the ESG indicators are surveyed by Refinitiv, which analyzes and provides objective ratings based on publicly available sources. The eligible universe is determined by the most liquid companies, i.e., those that have been part of the Merval Index or the S&P Merval in the last few years, the first index of its kind in Argentina, aimed at promoting the visibility of companies with best practices, the objective is to raise awareness and sensitize the Capital Market regarding the benefits of reporting and being a sustainable company: identifying new business opportunities, improving the ability to attract capital, reputation and brand positioning, and human capital loyalty, among others.

In this regard, the Stock Exchange Corporate Governance Officer, Julieta Artal Conte, explained: "We are proud to announce this second rebalancing of the BYMA Sustainability Index. It is essential that there are instances to show and make visible the issuers that are involved with sustainability, in order to generate a multiplier effect and encourage more companies to think year after year about their actions based on their possible impact on the community. It is gratifying to see the increase in sustainability reports and integrated reports and that the ESG-D performance of the issuers grows in each rebalancing. From BYMA we want to improve the environment in which we live with concrete actions such as this Sustainability Index."More information on the Sustainability Index.
