With satisfactory results in the 2018 fiscal year, BYMA held its Assembly.

With an attendance of over 52% of the total voting shares, BYMA, Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos, held its second Shareholders' Meeting
The management results and financial statements ended December 31, 2018, corresponding to the stock exchange's second fiscal year, were also presented. Net income amounted to Ps. 3,411 million, measured in historical values, and represented an increase of 194% compared to 2017. Expressed at constant currency as of 12/31/2018, net income amounted to P=1,851 million, representing an increase of 121% over 2017.
During the meeting, the initiatives developed during 2018 that contributed to reach such numbers were reviewed and the objectives for 2019 were also raised, with a strong focus on the internationalization of the local market.

In this regard, the president of BYMA, Ernesto Allaria, stated: "The financial results of the last period show the great work carried out in pursuit of the evolution of the Argentine capital market. Among the major milestones, we enhanced transparency, sustainability and good governance, internationalized the market and generated alliances that allowed us to increase security standards."
And he added: "This drives us to pursue more challenging goals that make the local market grow, because we understand that greater volume and depth translates into employment opportunities for Argentines."
For his part, the CEO of the stock exchange, Alejandro Berney, explained: "During 2019 we will continue to focus our efforts on two lines of work: first, market integration to boost efficiency and reduce costs. And secondly, continue with the development of new services modernizing the offer for investors."
On projections, BYMA's work will be oriented to the creation of a financial entity, the development of new indexes with international standards, the incorporation of technological systems and the digitalization of processes and procedures.
