Caja de Valores acquires technology from Nasdaq

The local central depository has chosen the leading automation exchange to access state-of-the-art postrade solutions. It will thus boost its operational and processing capacity.

Caja de Valores, Agente Depositario Central de Valores Negociables (ADCVN) which is part of Grupo BYMA, chose Nasdaq, the largest automated and electronic stock exchange in the United States, for the provision of latest generation technological solutions. It is the second central depository in Latin America to adopt this Integrated Custody System.

From this innovation, the system used by Caja de Valores will be upgraded with state-of-the-art technology. Thus, it will have the capacity to process larger volumes of transactions and will intensify its speed and agility, in accordance with international standards applicable to these entities with respect to their products and messaging services. In addition, the depository agent will be able to create, generate and launch new developments for its clients.

‍The benefit reaches all capital market players: depositors, issuers and investors, who will have access to all their custody and transactional information in real time in a single place. At the same time, it will enable the customization of reports according to each user. This will enable the self-management, simplification and automation of processes.
